OPTIMALISASI UNJUK KERJA COOLING TOWER DI PT. GEO DIPA ENERGI UNIT PATUHA

Cooling tower pada industri panas bumi digunakan untuk mendinginkan air pendingin kondensor turbin. Salah satu jenis cooling ini adalah induce draft counterflow dengan flow rate desain 9.259 ton/h. Proses pendinginan dilakukan menggunakan 5 buah cell temperatur masuk 41,6?C yang didinginkan hingga 20,2?C. Berdasarkan data commissioning tahun 2014, efektivitas sebesar 81,06% dan saat mengalami penurunan menjadi 71,21%. Sedangkan kondisi operasi bedasarkan perhitungan telah 9,85%. Bedasarkan permasalahan tersebut, divisi maintenance melakukan modifikasi pembersihan komponen tower. Hasil analisa dari diperoleh maksimal 82,70% kehilangan kalor 500.693.666,5 KJ/jam.
